After our Bike Tour and touring around the Finger Lakes with Barry's folks, we took in the annual sailboat show in Annapolis, Maryland and had a great time. It is the largest in-water boat show in the country. The night before the show we stayed on Kent Island, which was so pretty and had a bevy of seafood restaurants to choose from, plus a great bike/recreation path through it. We walked around after we ate dinner and watched the sunset. Here I am on a bridge. The seafood restaurant we ate dinner at is in the background.
Here is a picture from the outside of the boat show looking in before the gates opened at 10 am. That's a lot of masts!
Emily on our favorite Catamaran, the Maine Cat. We signed up for our first sailing class while at the boat show, and if we enjoy sailing, we hope to do a bareboat charter on one in the future.
