After hearing about this colorful, little western Ohio town and especially how great the cycling is (thanks Debra!), we knew we needed to swing through. We were already visiting Ohio to see Barry's parents in Dover and to attend his 40th high school reunion in North Canton, so it wasn't too far out of our way to spend a couple of days in Yellow Springs. We stayed at the super cute, retro Springs Motel, and got to do some fantastic biking on the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail, as well as around the town. Also enjoyed good food and libations in town and wonderful homemade ice cream at Young's Dairy just outside of town. This is a town we could easily spend a summer in! The following slide show includes photos from the town itself, and a later slide show (stay tuned) will highlight our cycling there. Press PLAY in the upper left-hand corner of the first photo to start the show.

I think that Yellow Springs is one of the best places to go in Ohio!

Emily & BarryWe're a long-married, early-retired couple who are currently traveling as nomads with no fixed home base. After years of living in North Carolina (Emily's home state), we spent 18 months living oceanfront on Ambergris Caye, Belize, a year road-tripping the US in a Honda CR-V, a year in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and are now roaming North America in our 32' motorhome, Pearl, following warm weather whenever possible.
