It looks a lot like Christmas around here!

Playa Del Carmen knows how to decorate for the holidays. It may not be cold and snowy, but it's festive and does look like Christmas!

Here are some of the colorful decorations in the municipal park downtown during the day.

If you can't have snow...

Seeing how pretty it was during the day, we knew we needed to head down after dark to check out the lights. There's a huge lit Christmas tree and much other decor. Lovely!

You two have hit the climate jackpot. Tucson has a hard freeze warning for tonight. Looking at Barry out and about in a tank top is hurting me! Enjoy your climate!

We really have, Allison! We picked a really good year to head FAR south! Hope the chill in Tucson will be short lived. Bundle up!

We're a long-married, early-retired couple who are currently traveling as nomads with no fixed home base. After years of living in North Carolina (Emily's home state), we spent 18 months living oceanfront on Ambergris Caye, Belize, a year road-tripping the US in a Honda CR-V, a year in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and are now roaming North America in our 32' motorhome, Pearl, following warm weather whenever possible.

Our passions are bicycling, walking and hiking, birding, continuing our midlife struggles to learn Spanish, enjoying healthy food (and the occasional donuts & pie!), traveling (duh!) We travel with a fleet of bicycles and Paisley, our 10-year old Boston Terrier.
