There were two bikes outside for us to use for the week. They were one speed cruiser bikes, with old fashioned coaster brakes. Not quite what we are used to riding, but they served us well during our week there. The resort is quite spread out, with different locations connected by trails, so we used the bikes more than we walked. We rode to the beach, the gift shop and dinghy dock area, and even to the restaurant, except at dinner (after dark), when we walked. There was even a bicycle track (unpaved) that you could do laps around. It was about 1/3 of a mile around, and when I needed some additional exercise, I rode around it a few times. The bikes certainly allowed us to keep much of our cycling fitness while here.

Bitter End Yacht Club
The Bitter End Yacht Club was a resort that was adjacent to Biras Creek on the North Sound. There was a trail from Biras that went over to the BEYC and we hiked it on my (Barry's) birthday, Dec. 3rd. Here are some BEYC photos.
